Artist Statement
There is a rhythm to life, to the day, to the moment—though in our life of moments we may not recognize this music and be the less for it. What is most likely to remind us of this measured flow of connections that is our birthright, if not the personal vision of the artist?
I see beauty breaking out everywhere, as Emerson put it. I feel called to speak of it through intuition, direct experience, lumps of clay and the experience of many years as a painter, printmaker and a human being with a heart and an eye.
